On Tuesday we welcomed Mr. Gavin Forrest who gave us an excellent presentation on his 'Trip to Kenya'
Gavin who is a member at Carluke Camera Club is an accomplished photographer and his photographs had
the audience spellbound.
Together with his wife and two friends he flew to Nairobi and from their had a long tour visiting Samburu, Lake Naivasha, and Masai Mara, National Nature Reserves.
At each venue he took many excellent photographs of the wildlife, the people, and the landscape. His group attended a wedding, visited local markets and a school, before finishing their tour.
Throughout his presentation Gavin gave descriptive details of the places, the wildlife and the people he photographed making it a very interesting and memorable evening.
Please note that we have a change in the syllabus next Tuesday. We have a presentation from local Professional Wildlife Photographer Paul McDougall.
