Members enjoyed an excellent presentation by member John Aldred. John had been invited to record photographs
at the 'Metallica Glasgow Concert' at Hampden Park in June this year. He explained in detail how he completed his
project by siting 9 cameras at strategic points around Hampden, every camera taking varying 'time lapse images' resulting
in over 90.000 images many of which he edited and used to compile a 4 minute video. John described and showed the
electronic wizardry he used to control all the cameras over the course of the week long preparation period and the final concert.
Following this the club President went over the rules relative to the forthcoming Projected Image Competition and also demonstrated how to size images.
Next Tuesday is the deadline for the hand-in for the first PDI Competition.
This will be followed by a talk by member Will Peat on his way with 'Panoramic Pictures'.
Note that at the following meeting on 29th September member Stephen Burman will give a presentation on his visit to 'Antarctica'
