On Tuesday following the hand in for the Annual Print Competitions we viewed a power point presentation by Will with the various possibilities for subjects for next sessions syllabus. There was general agreement with most of Will's presentation and some of the content will be used next session. A copy of Will's presentation is attached.
This was followed by a further presentation by Will entitled 'Blue is the Colour'. In this Will described how using auto settings on your camera may on occasions render 'blue' in many different shades. He then gave advice on how to meter from different colours and make adjustments to exposure settings to render the colour you want more accurately.
We then had a review of the images and the judges comments from last week's Annual PDI Competition. My apologies for overrunning with this. Tell me to shut up next time.
Will has a presentation on the 'Exposure Triangle' which he can do next Tuesday. Let me know if you want any other subjects covered.
The following week John Aldred has agreed to lead a practical 'Still Life' session so bring along your cameras if you wish to try your hand at it.
